# Contributing

## We do not accept pull requests

Pull requests opened against this repository cannot be merged, so please do not spend time writing code for it. Any pull request will be closed unmerged, however good the change is.

## What is genuinely useful

**Issues.** Bug reports and feature requests are read, and they are how nearly every fix in the changelog started. A good report is worth far more to us than a patch.

When reporting a bug, the details that shorten the round trip most:

- Novamira, WordPress, and PHP versions, plus your host if the behaviour looks environment-specific
- Which AI client you are connecting, and whether over OAuth or an Application Password
- What you expected, what happened, and the exact error text or log lines
- What you already ruled out — a plugin conflict test, a fresh reconnect, another site that behaves differently

If you have traced the cause, say so and point at the file and line. That goes straight into the fix, and it is credited in the issue. You are welcome to include a suggested diff in the issue body as illustration — just not as a pull request.

**Security issues** should not be filed as public issues. Email dev@novamira.ai instead.
