<p id="par_id6820276" class="paragraph" dir="auto">Right-click the table border to open the table's context menu. Use the table's context menu to enter a name and description for the table, or to distribute the rows or columns equally, among other commands.</p>

<p id="par_id091620080355171" class="paragraph" dir="auto">To select a rectangular area of cells, point to a cell in one corner of the rectangle, hold down the mouse button, and drag the mouse to the opposite corner of the rectangle, then release the mouse button. </p>

<h2 id="hd_id3151075" dir="auto">Inserting a new spreadsheet as an OLE object</h2>
<p id="par_id3150715" class="paragraph" dir="auto">You can add a blank LibreOffice Calc spreadsheet to a slide as an OLE object.</p>

<p id="par_id3146313" class="listitem" dir="auto">Choose <span class="menuitem">Insert - OLE Object - OLE Object</span>. Click <span class="menuitem">Create new</span> and select the LibreOffice Spreadsheet. Click OK. Click in the spreadsheet to enter your data. </p>

<h2 id="hd_id3150215" dir="auto">Inserting a spreadsheet from a file</h2>
<p id="par_id3154765" class="paragraph" dir="auto">When you insert an existing spreadsheet into your slide, changes that are made to the original spreadsheet file are not updated on your slide. You can, however, make changes to the spreadsheet in your slide.</p>
