  <p id="par_id311702497450126" class="paragraph" dir="auto">The instructions for installing the built-in help depend on the method used for installing LibreOffice on your device. For the purpose of this guide, consider the two following approaches:</p>

  <p id="par_id701702507635522" class="paragraph" dir="auto">Open the location where the <span class="emph">.msi</span> binary file was downloaded to and execute the installer. Follow the installer instructions.</p>
  <h3 id="hd_id621702507782214" dir="auto">MacOS</h3>
  <p id="par_id761702507959835" class="paragraph" dir="auto">Open the location where the <span class="emph">.dmg</span> binary file was downloaded to and execute the installer. After the installation window appears, drag and drop the LibreOffice icon onto the <span class="menuitem">Applications</span> icon.</p>
  <h3 id="hd_id301702508628711" dir="auto">DEB installer</h3>
  <p id="par_id851702508657689" class="paragraph" dir="auto">The <span class="emph">.deb</span> installer is meant for Ubuntu-based Linux distributions and it is available as a <span class="emph">.tar.gz</span> compressed file.</p>
  <p id="par_id1001702509285820" class="paragraph" dir="auto">Download the <span class="emph">.tar.gz</span> file to your device and extract it. The <span class="emph">.deb</span> file will be inside a folder named <span class="emph">DEBS</span>.</p>
  <p id="par_id521702509438353" class="paragraph" dir="auto">Open the <span class="menuitem">Terminal</span> application, use the <span class="literal">cd</span> command to navigate to the folder where the <span class="emph">.deb</span> file is located and run the following command:</p>

  <p id="par_id100170250925775" class="paragraph" dir="auto">Download the <span class="emph">.tar.gz</span> file to your device and extract it. The <span class="emph">.rpm</span> file will be inside a folder named <span class="emph">RPMS</span>.</p>
